Human Aid Initiative Delivers Ramadan Aid to Flood-Affected Communities in Aceh

Human Aid Initiative (HAI) has completed the distribution of its Ramadan 2026 programme, delivering zakat, sadaqah, iftar meals and food aid to communities affected by the recent devastating floods in Aceh, Indonesia.

The distribution took place in the final days of Ramadan, ensuring that families in need received timely support as they prepared for Eid.

Working closely with its local partner, Human Initiative, one of Indonesia’s largest humanitarian organisations, HAI ensured that assistance reached vulnerable households most impacted by the disaster.

The programme provided essential food supplies and financial support, helping to ease the burden on families who continue to face the aftermath of displacement and loss.

HAI extends its heartfelt gratitude to the public for their unwavering support and generosity throughout Ramadan.

Every contribution, no matter the size, has played a vital role in bringing relief, dignity, and hope to those in need. This collective compassion is what made it possible to reach communities in Aceh during such a critical time.

This joint effort reflects a shared commitment to delivering aid with care, dignity, and efficiency.

Through the generosity of donors, the Ramadan programme not only met urgent needs but also brought comfort and hope to communities during a time of both challenge and spiritual significance.
