Heavy rainfall has triggered flash floods and landslides in Solok, West Sumatra. Mud, rocks and fallen trees swept through communities, damaging homes, public facilities and vehicles, while disrupting access along the Solok–Padang road.

Families are now facing the difficult task of recovering from the disaster. Many need immediate assistance to meet their basic needs and begin rebuilding their lives.
